Shoe porn and why more is always better

Whoever invented high heels deserves praise. Whoever thought of putting high heels on women instead of men that look like gnomes has been, without a doubt, touched by God himself.

There is no excuse for women that do not wear high heels. Period. I don’t care if you’re more comfortable without, if you cannot walk (learn!), if you’re too tall (you’re not!), high heel shoes are the essence of femininity and odes should be sung accordingly.

We have the classics that always enchant us with their grace and versatility, like Louboutin and Blahnik, we have Prada that is always a sight to behold, YSL that gives you wings, all of them tell stories about the women wearing them.

But we don’t speak here about classics. There are those that look like they have been crafted by Michelangelo himself, those that don’t let you wear them, no matter how much of a bad bitch you are.

Here we speak about McQueen.

He said at one point: “When you see a woman wearing McQueen, there’s a certain hardness to the clothes that makes her look powerful. It kind of fends people off. You have to have a lot of balls to talk to a woman wearing my clothes.”

The above might come off as a bit arrogant, but the man transposed the self-awareness regarding his own strength and capacity in his work. You cannot wear this:

And be boring. It is impossible. You cannot wear this:

and not be aware of the fact that you are, indeed a goddess.

As for me…the break me, shake me, kill me and bring me back to life. Yes, they can influence how you feel because sheer beauty generally does…
